Welcome to the Readme file and Thank you for downloading my creation!

Credit goes out to West Coast Choppers and Jesse James for designing and building bikes that inspired me to model one of my own in 3d. The bike I modeled was origanaly based on Steve Weavers El Diablo II (see it @ www.westcoastchoppers.com)
The entire bike was built from scratch in 3dsmax R5 and most of the textures were done from scratch also. (the exceptions are the headlight and the brake rotors)
All work done on this bike was done by me, Joey "NucHaz" Sinclair, and thanks to Oleg for answering a question reguarding Zmodeler.
Also would like to give a big thanks to www.3dbuzz.com for the Incredable video training magizines for 3dsmax, photoshop, and concept art, all downloadable for free I might add!

Polycount is 35K.

Changes to Version 2.
*Completely remodeled the motor, transmission, handlebars, and exaust.
*Underside of fenders, gastank, and verious objects significantly optimized.
*New monochome flamejob thats full carcols compatable.
*Swingarm added for softtail suspension and wheel rear lowered (this means no longer will the rear wheel come through the rear fender and the frame will stay on the middle of the rear wheel and look more natural)
*Front Fork Suspension angle adjusted so the front wheel no longer go through the ground and the front forks no longer seperate at an odd angle, they work correctly now.
 *Compelty new handling file.
 *tweaked collision file

                                   <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Installation >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
First remeber to backup everything you edit!

You will need the following tools.

An IMG editor, such as the one found under mods/editors @ http://www.gta-vice.com/

A collision file editor such as: Coll Editor found @ http://people.freenet.de/steve-m/
*please note that I also included the vehicals.col file, you can just replace the vehicals.col file in your vice city/models/coll/ if you have Not prevoiusly modifyed your vehicals.col file.*

And windows notepad will work fine for the rest.

Youll need to open up the handling.cfg file (located in rockstar games/vice city/data/) and find the line for the Freeway motorcycle, replace it with this:

FREEWAY 650.0 0.75 3.1 1.4 0.0 0.325 0.0 103 1.2 0.8 0.55 4 220.0 45.0 R P 10.0 0.55 0 25.0 0.85 0.25 0.3 0.24 85000 0.05 -0.06 0.25 0.0 10003 1 1

Youll also need to open up the default.ide file (located in same directory as handling.cfg) and find the line for the freeway that starts with 193, replace it with this line:

193, freeway, freeway, bike, FREEWAY, FREEWAY, bikeh, motorbike, 10, 7, 0, 52, 0.654

Open up your carcols.dat file also located in the same directory, near the top, where all the colors are listed, add these lines:

150,0,0 # 95 HFred red
31,220,0 # 96 HFgreen green
20,0,213 # 97 HFblue blue
234,127,0 # 98 HForange orange

now scroll down and find the freeway, replace it with this line:

freeway, 95,0, 0,95, 96,0, 0,96, 97,0, 0,97, 98,0, 0,98

Next, either replace your preiously unmodifyed vehicals.col file with the on I included (as mentioned above) or open up your collision editor, open vehicals.col (loacted vice city/models/coll/) find the freeway and replace it with hellfire.col

Finaly, open up your IMG editor, find Freeway.txd and Freeway.dff and delete them both, then add the new Freeway.dff and Freeway.txd included in the zip file.

And that should be everything, fire up vice city, find a freeway and enjoy!

                                 <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Editing Notes >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Ive included templates for the 2 main textures used (not included in VCM), the main body texture is full labled, and the texture name in game is "HFTex.bmp", and the other is just "motor.bmp". You will also need to flip the textures verticaly to get them to show up correctly in game.
there is more textures used, if you feel the need to change the licence plate or headlight lens or whatever, extract it from freeway.txd.
