The .DAT files in Midnight Club 2 (excluding streams) contain no file names,
so i had to add the ability to choose an extension when opening.

Most is unknown about these files still and I'm trying to figure them out.

*New in beta2* you can 'Replace' mp3s with your own in the streams file
-caution: DO NOT ADD OR DELETE
-Caution: Rename has no effect, so you do not need to rename files once replaced

*new in beta3:*
I got around to making an update to the iRipper tool... now it can extract the Midnight Club 2
'assets_p.dat' 100%... it does not mean SAVE... if you improperly use this tool its your own
fault... all this new version allows you to do is completely extract all contents of assets file.
(extract all function) this will take some time

But I want to edit stuff!
No worries... Midnight Club 2 will take a ZIP format... what you can do is extract all
contents of 'assets_p.dat' to some empty folder... then once its completed re-compress to
a normal ZIP format using WinRAR or WinZip (remember to keep directory structure).
Once that has completed... move or rename the original 'Assets_P.DAT' file and put
the newly compressed ZIP file in your Midnight Club 2 folder. Finally, rename that
zip file to 'Assets_p.dat' and the game will accept it as normal (this format is actually smaller.. you will save about 2mb of space) .
Now you are ready to do some exploring and modding. Still very much is unknown about these formats and iRipper
is not yet complete. I can tell you that most are plain ASCII files (open with WordPad or Microsoft Word).
You can then rename the orignally .zip format assets_p.dat file back to *.zip and open with your favorite ZIP tool and inject what you have edited.

WARNING: Do NOT try to save the ASSETS file or its contents... as this may corrupt the files and you will be fucked!

*end new in beta 3*

Here is a list of files and what they contain.
streams_pc.dat - sound Data - auto extension

/texture_x/*.dat - Texture Data - auto extension (.mc2)
/city/[city]/*cpvs.dat - 3D Data? - unknown format

Also note that the save function is still in beta phase and I recommend you don't use it yet
as its not 100% complete. Please check back at ToCA EDIT for updates.
