NOTES: Scratch-built FTO model created in ZModeler v1.06f for Grand
Theft Auto 3. This overseas-only FWD pocket rocket looks a little
fancier than your standard import racer, but underneath the fashion
plate looks is a MIVEC engine that'll talk the talk and walk the
walk. Installation instructions are as follows:

1) Download IMG Tool from http://www.gta3files.com/ if you do not
   already have this utility.

2) Backup your gta3.img and txd.img files. They should be located in
your gta3/models directory. If you don't do this, then the only
way to return your game to normal will be to reinstall.

3) You CAN add new cars to GTA3, but adding cars is a black art with
no real guarantee of success. If you want to add the FTO, more power
to you, but you'll have to track down the instructions yourself.
I suggest fishing in the Editing Discussion forum of gta3forums.com
   for tips.

Far more reliable is replacing an already-existing car with the FTO.
I chose the Stinger, and cannot guarantee that the model will load
if you replace any other car. You should be able to replace most
passenger cars, though. Read the notes below for more details.

Using IMG Tool, load txd.img. Find the corresponding car TXD
(ex. stallion.txd) and delete it from txd.img. This will take some
time. Then, once the original car TXD is gone, add fto.txd to
txd.img. IMG Tool will prompt you to provide a new filename for the
TXD; use the name of the TXD you just deleted from txd.img (from the
   previous example, also stallion.txd)

4) Repeat the same steps for gta3.img, only using the DFF files instead
of the TXD files. So, delete carname.dff from gta3.img and add
fto.dff and give carname.dff as the new name.

5) Load up GTA3 and look for your brand new shiny car. Enjoy.

This model includes fully-working doors, as well as a complete set of
damage models and some new textures (lights, interior, grille, engine).
No changes to handling.cfg or carcols.dat were made - you can probably
tune a car better than I can. I recommend changing the wheel size in
default.ide to a larger 0.76. Edit these values at your own risk. There
are also no new wheels with this car. Perhaps later, when there's time,
I'll get some new rims built. Until then, there are addon wheel sets
out there.

As far as I know, this car does NOT crash the game when moving between
parts of Liberty City (ex. Shoreside Vale to Staunton Island). This car
contains rear-door dummies, and should therefore be able to replace four
door vehicles. This hasn't been tested, though, so watch out.

You may modify this car for public distribution on TWO CONDITIONS:
1) Tell me what you're doing, just so I know, and
2) On the website you host your new model on and/or in any
documentation included with the model, you credit me and provide a
   link to the original.
