Package Information:
===============
This Zip File (halo.zip)contains the following files:
install.zip
setup.exe
uninstall.zip
poster.jpg
readme.txt
\col files\bfinject.col
\col files\bfinject-backup.col

Introduction:
=========
Through a time warp between video games it was possible for a Warthog of the future to slip into Vice City. Now Tommy, transformed into a HALO soldier, can do real damage!

The background info is that I made this model after a player's request. I haven't played the game and I did it only by viewing clipart I downloaded from the Internet. So any corrections are welcomed. The player model is just a beta test by skinning up the SWAT soldier of the game. It's really not that good at this stage. (See the "Things to do" list at the bottom of this readme file for more info.) The conclusion is that I made a fantasy model out of thin air so I'm very pleased with my work - I hope you like it too.

Featuring:
=======
- the famous "HALO Warthog" that replaces the "BF Injection".
- Player model of HALO sordier (beta version)!
- Trademark logo of HALO at the back!
- Rotating minigun on top of driver!
- Specially edited .col file to match model.
- Large wheels like a monster track (or a mini-monster track).
- Experience the massacre a soldier from the future caused in 80's Vice City!

Install Instructions:
=============
This time I made it as easier as possible for you to install the model so I've included the GTA Mod Installer by CPMUSICK(cpmusick@gta3hq.com)which automates the procedure. Backup files are also included so you don't have to worry about how to get back the original "BF Injection" or player model. Note that using the automated installation, a few billboards will change promotimg mostly my other mods. I think it's the least I can ask of you for using something for free. Nothing crutial to the game or what other people might modding will change.

OPTIONAL tools:
- Collision File Editor
- GXT Editor
(find them at: http://www.gtagaming.com/mods.php)

1. Run setup.exe and proceed as following:
	a) Click continue in the introductory text.
	b) Choose the third option to install a mod with a script file to Vice City.
	c) Choose to select a ZIP or RAR file that has the mod's files.
	d) Select the "install.zip" file that is in the same folder as setup.exe
	e) Input where you have GTA: Vice City installed.
	f) Select NOT to make a backup of the files replaced - there is an uninstall option available here.
	g) Done.

2. OPTIONAL - Installing the Collision File (bfinject.col): Backup vehicles.col, which is located in vice's .\models\coll folder. Open up the vehicles.col file with Collision File Editor. Find the bfinject model, select Replace, and select the bfinject.col that is included in the package. Save the file, and select yes to the messages.

3. OPTIONAL - Changing the car's name: Open GXT Editor, find american.gxt which is located in vice's .\text folder and select Load. Scroll down the RIGHT of the two windows until you reach BFINJC. Double-click on it and replace "BF Injection" with "HALO Warthog" (or whatever else you like as a name). Click Save, then Exit.

4. Load the game! Before you enter Vice City, go to the options menu and change the skin to the player to HALO. That will assure that you're not seeing a mixed up model.

5. How to find the Warthog: Go to the north bridge on the map and drive from Downtown to the Movie Studio. That's where you most likely find the "BF Injection" that is now the amazing "HALO Warthog". Enjoy your new car!

6. For the uninstalling procedure do the same as above - just choose the "uninstall.zip" this time and it will bring the DEFAULT "BF Injection" and player model. If you had modified either of them previously you'll just have to install their previous mods. Don't forget to change the col file back to the original one (bfinject-backup.col).

Things to do:
=========
- A proper player model
- Real wheels
- A futuristic gun

Please help guys, everyone is welcomed to contribute. I just don't have the time to do it all by myself. All proper credit will be given of course and maybe I can put one of your custom ads in the free space on the billboards.
